After attending ICRA 2025, she launched ROBOCONN as the acting Co-President of CURC, a conference to unite robotics-minded undergraduates and industry professionals. She researches fusion energy at the Columbia Fusion Research Center, teaches CAD design, and empowers her Columbia community through career and social initiatives

Junior Electrical Engineering student at Columbia University focused on human-centered robotics, AI, and sustainable energy. Otavio is a co-inventor of a patented solar-powered tick control device and has experience in soft robotics, DRL, and deploying RL policies on humanoid (Unitree G1). At ROBOCONN, he works on outreach and partnerships, connecting robotics companies and other sponsors with our community.

Nehal is a second year student in SEAS interested in the intersection of Healthcare and Technology. She has pursued an interest in robotics through research in surgical and rehabilitation robotics and continues to expand her knowledge by currently doing work in deep learning for biomedical imaging. Having been the head of multiple robotics initiatives in Saint Lucia, she looks forward to planning RoboCONN!
